Swindon Property, a leading name in the commercial property industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the position of Head of Brokering for our Johannesburg operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our brokerage team activities in Johannesburg, coordinating with our other regions, and ensuring the efficient functioning of our operations, and driving business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the brokering team in Johannesburg.
  • Oversee all aspects of leasing and sales operations in the region including conducting our team meetings, assisting with recruitment and setting KPI’s.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, landlords, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance performance and productivity.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize business processes and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and ethical standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of commercial property experience, with a focus on both leasing and sales.
  • Proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Previous leadership or managerial experience will be advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of the Johannesburg property market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions.
  • Results-driven with a passion for achieving targets and driving growth.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification will be preferred.
