The Western Seaboard is the collective name for the suburbs which lie primarily along the Altantic coastline to the north of the Cape Town Central Business District. The areas included here are: Milnerton, West Beach, Montague Gardens, Racing Park, Rivergate, Atlas Gardens, Atlantic Hills, Annandale, Richmond Park, Lagoon Beach, Table View, Parklands, Century City, Killarney Gardens, Brooklyn, Rugby, Marconi Beam, Richwood and Blaauwberg. The Koeberg Nuclear Power Station is located just to the north of this area. Although considered one of the fastest expanding residential nodes in the Cape Peninsula density regulations are enforced as a result of the location of the power station and close proximity to residential nodes. Numerous retail centres and a small percentage of offices have sprung up as the area continues to expand.
